Effects

• The spectrum of activity of 2C-B is very broad and is locate by users between that of LSD and MDMA. Experienced users also report very different experiences with the same consumption requirements [dose, form of application, set (mental and physical condition of the user) and setting (environment)]. 2C-B has a very strong hallucinogenic effect: all senses are sensitized, strong changes in perception (even with closed eyes) such as colored patterns, auras and flowing movements can occur, intensified body feeling (»body tripping«). This effect is perceived by some users as very scary. In addition, 2C-B can have a sexually stimulating (aphrodisiac), harmonizing, empathogenic (feeling into others), slightly stimulating and euphoric effect. Users also report giggling attacks and a hearty laugh. With low and medium doses it can happen that e.g. suddenly and unexpectedly back and forth between intoxication and perceived sobriety.
• Short-term side effects: severe burning of the nasal mucosa when snorting.
